1. Acceptance of these terms

By using the Lucky Dog Recipes apps or website (the “Service”), operated by Lucky Dog Software, LLC (“we,” “us”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

2. The service

Lucky Dog Recipes is a personal recipe manager: it captures recipes from photos and links, organizes your library, plans menus, and builds shareable grocery lists, synced across your devices.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Your content

Everything you add — recipes, photos, notes, menus, lists — remains yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to store your content, sync it to your devices, and display it to you and to the people you choose to share it with. You are responsible for having the right to save the content you add.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service: no unlawful content, no attempts to break, probe, or overload it, no accessing other people’s data, and no reselling the Service.

6. AI-assisted features

Recipe capture uses AI to read photos and web pages. It’s good, but not perfect — always review captured ingredients, quantities, and steps, especially where allergies or dietary restrictions matter. Nutrition information is an estimate, not medical advice.

7. Third-party content

Recipes you import may originate from third-party websites or books. We don’t control and aren’t responsible for third-party content or sites linked from the Service.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we’ll be reasonable about it.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lucky Dog Software, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).

11. Changes

We may update the Service and these terms. If we make material changes to the terms, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
